Who we are

Tok-Vibes is a creative strategy studio for 7 to 9 figure DTC brands. They hand us their ad account and their footage, and we hand back the creative that scales it. Between 60 and 120 unique ads a month per brand, built from research rather than guesswork. Some cut from existing footage, some built as AI ads, all of it direct response.

We're small on purpose. Everyone here owns brands, sees the spend, and knows whether their work worked.

That last part is the whole reason this job is different. Most strategists brief an ad, hand it over, and never find out what happened. No spend, no ROAS, no idea whether the angle carried it or the hook did. Here you'd be in the account weekly, and every brief you write gets read properly and you get told exactly why something is weak. That's the part that actually makes you better, and almost nobody gets it.

The role

You own the creative on 2 to 3 brands, around 25 to 30 batches a week.

A batch here is one concept, one motivator, built out in a few genuinely different formats. Some of the formats we use often: AI voiceover, lo-fi static, text-over-b-roll, AI ads, existing footage. Not one script with a few hooks stacked on it, because Meta reads that as the same ad anyway.

You research the customer until you can hear their voice, find the angle, write the brief, and stay on it through the edit until the ad is live and you can see what it did. You're not a copywriter handed a template. You decide what gets tested and why, and the account tells you whether you were right.

What you own

Five areas. The percentage is roughly where your week goes once you're up to speed, so you can see the shape of the job rather than guess at it.

35%

Briefing and scripting

  • One concept, one motivator, a few distinct formats. Every batch, same structure.
  • Hooks in six words or fewer. Every single time. Each one carries a number, a contradiction, a real customer pain, or a line that puts them in their future.
  • Headlines that are genuinely potent, not placeholder text on top of a video.
  • Briefs an editor can shoot from without asking you a single question. Visual direction, pacing, framing, all of it.
  • You never send us your first draft.
25%

Research and angle development

  • Mine reviews, Reddit, comments, and competitor ad libraries. Get obsessed with the buyer.
  • Dig into the data and the psychology. Not just what they say they want, but why they actually buy. The specific reason someone opens their wallet at 2am, not the surface-level version of it.
  • Build the motivator before you write the script, not after.
  • Every single thing we test has a unique reason behind it. You can say what it is, out loud, in one sentence. "I felt like it" isn't a research method and it doesn't survive a sprint review.

Edit review, same day

This is not admin. It is the job, and it's the one thing we'll chase you on more than anything else.

Your status · Edit Review

When a cut lands, it's yours and the clock is running. Turn it around the same day. Not tonight, not tomorrow morning. An edit sitting in your queue overnight is a batch that misses the week, and the client is paying for that week.

  • Good → you set Approved - Prep Files and it moves to delivery.
  • Not good → Edit Feedback with clear written notes, back to the editor.
  • You own four statuses and never touch the others: Briefing, Brief Review, Edit Feedback, Approved - Prep Files.
15%

Reading the ad account

  • Check your brands daily. You'll have access, and we expect you to use it.
  • Know what's scaling, what's fatiguing, and what you're iterating next before anyone asks you.
  • Bring the Creative Director a point of view, not a question.

Learning from every batch

  • Every batch goes into the ad roadmap with the reason we shipped it.
  • We never ship a batch without a reason, and we always come back to learn from it.
  • You own that loop on your brands. It's how a good strategist compounds instead of starting fresh every sprint.

Your numbers

Five things, reported weekly, before anyone asks. Agreed with you in week one, not handed down.

What we trackTarget
Batches delivered on time100%, every week
Edit reviews turned aroundSame day, every time
Briefs needing a rewrite before shippingZero
Hit rate: of the ads we launched, how many hit the brand's KPI20% on your brands
Client renewal on your brandsHeld

Hit rate is measured at the end of each sprint, on ads that have been live at least 7 days, so nothing is judged before it's had a fair run. We're likely below 20% today, so that target is real rather than a formality.

What great looks like

By week 3

Your first ad is live in the account, because your brief was clear enough that the editor executed it perfectly with no back and forth.

By month 2

Your client is happy, because the creative is getting results.

Your briefs go straight to production without the Creative Director rewriting them.

Every batch you've shipped has a documented reason and a documented learning.

By month 6

You're on 3 brands and holding them without being chased.

At least $100k in spend from ads you briefed.

You're the person other strategists ask about angles.

By month 12

You could run a brand end to end with no oversight, and you're helping set the standard for everyone who joins after you.

A real plus

Who you are

Who this role is NOT for

Where you can be

Fully remote, LatAm preferred. Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Panama, anywhere on or near Eastern time.

The real constraint isn't the country, it's the overlap. You have to be genuinely online 8am to 4pm EST, Monday to Friday, because that's when edit reviews and briefing happen. A strategist who's asleep through that window stalls the whole batch behind them.

North America and the Caribbean work naturally. Europe and Africa can work if you're genuinely happy with afternoons into evenings, so tell us honestly rather than hoping. Asia-Pacific timezones don't work for this role and we'd rather say so than waste your time.

Full seat$48,000/yr · $4,000/mo2 to 3 brands, around 25 to 30 batches a week.

Most people who are going to make it here are on the full rate inside three to six months. Paid monthly on the 30th, the same amount every month regardless of how many delivery weeks fall in it. Plus a performance bonus every 12 weeks.

How you move up: when you can hold the brand you already have. Not time served. The rule is written down and it's the same for everyone, so you never have to ask for a raise.

Senior strategists here grow into Creative Director work, reviewing other people's briefs and setting the bar. That path is open and it's how we intend to fill it.

What you get

How we work

Reliability

We don't just meet deadlines, we beat them. If something's going to be late, we say so before the deadline, not after.

Overcommunicate

Reply fast. Be present. Don't ghost. If you're stuck, say it. If you're done, say it.

Every test has a reason

We dig into the data and the psychology until we know why someone actually buys. Nothing gets tested because it felt good. If you can't say why we're testing it, it isn't ready to ship.

In love with the craft

We're not just good at this, we're obsessed with it. If ads aren't genuinely interesting to you, this will always feel like work.

And one rule

Do the right thing even when no one is watching.

How to apply

And one question in your own words: what's the last ad that stopped you scrolling, and what specifically made it work?

Write that yourself. We read a lot of AI copy and we clock it immediately. Three honest sentences beat a polished paragraph you didn't write.
