Tok-Vibes · Now hiring
Own whether our creative is good, and whether it performs, across every brand we run.
Tok-Vibes is a creative strategy studio for 7 to 9 figure DTC brands. They hand us their ad account and their footage, we hand back the creative that scales it. 60 to 120 unique ads a month per brand, built from research rather than guesswork.
We already have a full team of strategists and they're good. The problem is that every brief still comes back through the founder, so work sits in a queue and ads go live days later than they should. One person is the ceiling on a team that could move much faster.
You'd unblock them in week one, then build what makes them repeatable. The research standard isn't written down and most of how we work lives in one person's head. The systems you build become how this place works.
Five areas. The percentage is roughly where your week goes.
When a strategist sets Brief Review it's yours. You approve it and link the editor in the same move. Final creative say. Nothing reaches a client you haven't stood behind, and the same standard applies on every brand.
Set the research direction on every brand and sprint, into the data and the psychology. You decide which concepts get produced each cycle. Every test has a unique reason behind it and you enforce that. If a strategist can't say why in one sentence, it doesn't ship.
You're their manager and first escalation point. Weekly brainstorm over their brand and their account. Know what each one is individually weak at and close it. And build the Tok-Vibes Method, our internal training, so a new strategist reaches the bar in weeks instead of months.
You're in every account every week, before the briefs go out. Your read on what's scaling and what's fatiguing tells the strategists what to write next. Spot an underperforming brand early, and go hands-on when one is in trouble.
A report at the end of every sprint for every brand, plus a progress read every two weeks. You talk to clients directly about the creative, in the client channel, not relayed through ops.
Not yours on day one: live client calls, and pushing back on a client when their thinking is off. Those come later, with the founder alongside you first.
Brief review must never be the reason an ad isn't live. A Creative Director who returns every brief with a page of notes doesn't raise the bar, they become the bottleneck. Four responses, and you pick one deliberately.
It's good. Approve and move on. You don't need a note to prove you read it.
Change it yourself, send it to edit, then one line saying what you changed. A silent fix is a favour that costs them the lesson.
The angle is wrong or the research is thin. Revisions Needed, plus a call. Coaching, not correcting.
Rarely, the concept shouldn't exist. Killing it before it eats an editor's day is the job.
The test: would explaining this make the next brief better, or just make this one different?
Brief review is yours and nothing waits on the founder. You know how every account is performing, you've given a straight read on the strategist team, and you've named the two or three things holding our hit rate back.
The research standard is written down and every strategist runs it. Weak strategy gets caught at your sign-off, not in the ad account. You own the per-brand reports.
A new strategist reaches our standard in 30 to 60 days because the Method carries them. No strategist's briefs need your review. And the founder has no visibility into what gets made, and no reason to want any.
| What we track | Target |
|---|---|
| Winners in the account: new ads that hit the brand's KPI and take real spend | Every brand, every sprint |
| Time a brief sits at Brief Review before you clear it | Under 24 hours |
| Batches shipped on time across all brands | 100%, every week |
| Client renewal per 12-week cycle | Held |
We deliberately don't hold you to a hit-rate percentage, because we ship high volume on purpose and a percentage would push you toward fewer, safer concepts. We'll set the exact number per brand in your first 90 days.
Four steps and we move fast. Application and Loom, a 30-minute screening call, a paid review test where you review three real briefs from our strategists, then a 45-minute technical interview. If we like you, you'll know inside two weeks.
The form asks for your portfolio, proof of spend, the brief behind one of your ads, and a two to three minute Loom telling us who you are and why this role.
